Why Choose STRAC?
STRAC is dedicated to the mission of changing lives by providing immersive, hands-on training combined with job placement services to launch students into a sustainable, well-paying career in electronics.
An Affordable Alternative
Electronics is an excellent career choice for many high school graduates. It’s a well-paying, high-demand trade that offers advancement through continued job experience, education and training. If your child is interested in an electronics career, consider that:
- Electronics Technicians earn an average salary of *$61,760 per year, making it one of the highest-paying non-degree occupations in the U.S.
- The demand for Electronics Technicians is expected to grow *2% each year over the next decade.

After completing STRAC’s 20-week Certified Electronics Technician vocational training program, students can begin working right away. STRAC graduates gain valuable job experience and start earning an income before most students in two and four year college programs even graduate.

STRAC Students Develop the Skills Employers are Seeking
We stay in close contact with employers to make sure our curriculum teaches skills currently in demand in the industry, as well as those that will be in the future. Students earn 13 electronics certifications that are recognized by, and in some cases, required by employers. This means STRAC graduates are often hired at both entry- and mid-level positions, so they can start earning more right away.
Our Training Program Sets Students Up for Success
- Structured Program - Our training program includes schedules, assignments and demands that help prepare students for the discipline of full-time employment.
- Small Class Size - A student-to-instructor ratio of 8:1 means students get the help and attention they need to successfully complete the program.
- Hands-on Training - Students practice on-the-job skills using the same equipment employers use.
- Supportive Environment - While our curriculum is rigorous, the entire STRAC team, including admissions personnel, instructors and the career support team go the extra mile to help students gain confidence and be successful.
